We will add experience to your knowledge

ITW Metalflex Soča Valley Talent Development Programme – in Slovenian we named it We Add Experience to Your Knowledge – has been implemented recently. It will enable us to find and further develop promising young cadres from the Upper Soča Valley. The programme is supported also by the Municipality of Tolmin and its mayor, Mr. Uroš Brežan.

In this programme we will enable the candidate chosen to perform his one-year practice in our company, as well as abroad in one of the seven other units included in ITW Global Appliance Group (Italy, USA, China, Brazil or Mexico). We also plan to retain talents by helping new graduates find their first employment locally, in ITW Metalflex. After choosing the right candidate, the programme is supposed to start in the study year 2011/2012. If it turns out to be successful, we will continue with it in the next study years. The programme will be financially completely covered by ITW Metalflex.

The new warehouse is in full operation

ITW Metalflex has recently built another facility next to the existing two. Due to the production increase and more products with larger volume, we had to decide for a new warehouse. Its surface is 1600 m² and from June onwards the company uses it as a warehouse for products and preparation for shipment.

New production line for pressure sensor

From May onwards, the production of pressure sensor in ITW Metalflex consists of four production lines systems. Pressure sensors are used to regulate water level in dishwashers and washing machines and it works on the principle of electronics. We began with the production of this product in 2008 and gradually automated it with the introduction of new production lines in the next two years. Before that, some phases were still carried out manually or semi-automatic.
